Hurricane Irma left its mark on Puerto Rico, Thursday September 2017, leaving behind images of damage and destruction. With winds up to 175 mph our island was spared the harshest wrath of the storm. Unfortunately other islands such as St Martin, St Thomas and Barbuda were no as fortunate.
Hurricane Irma is only the latest setback for Puerto Rico, but residents are strong and passionate. Residents and volunteers became a force and pulled together to help other islands, soon becoming a hub for medical and humanitarian services.
